After we realize that the education’s system in Thailand was collapsed by separating components of thai society into bits and parts, and by ruining a harmony of clustered family structure from the old day daily life.
About Moradokmai
Absorbing forms of western educational system, based on industrialized revolution, was totally damaged the good old days, way of living and culture in Thailand. A thai educational system nowadays become a majored cause of family destructions unexpectedly.
When children have to go to schools, parents have to work hard for a school fees payment, grandparents end up to be labors for household works, and a religion becomes merely a symbolic figure. The strength of original thai society was abruptly diminished away and was replaced by money system which valued men equal to products. While the structure of a home, a temple and a school, which used to be strongly tied up together, in order to weave a warm relationship between a family, a community, and religion consistently, was shockingly destroyed.
Therefore, we have been reconsidering once again that "what is an education, indeed ?" Is it true that a new educational system is unnecessary, and can be harmful to a process of truly learning ?. Does a new educational system make children abandon from society ?. Finally, we found the answer.
Since the year 2000, we have been taking our plays to perform in schools all around Thailand, and have had a chance to see all kinds of diversities in thai society, therefore, we found out that the best solution of a truly learning educational system is getting back to the old days, to a community, and to a local way of life, through their own stories, again.
A dramatic arts community and a young Thai dramatists network is a light of hope for children and youth to strengthen a capacity of their own community with their own wisdom. By analyzing community's problems, put them together into their plays. Gathering their parents, relatives, teachers, and even monks to sit in circle, talk, and take parts in solving their own problems. A dramatic arts becomes a tool to make communities harmoniously
As, a process of dramatic arts, will penetrate on others' needs more than individuals’ needs, therefore ,it is a primarily practice that can be able to build an idealistic society, as religion does. "Nostagia" vision may not be an answer for community's strength. However, learning from the past is the way to understand reasonably of what had happened and be able to adapt those wisdoms in practice,
such as establishing a youth dramatists network of 40 schools around Thailand, touring plays for educational development, calling for participants in residencies from national and international young dramatists to experience our community , practice our philosophies and even give hands to form a model of idealistic community, in order to accomplish our mission to drive Thai society into a proper path , to free children from materialism, and to make a warm vibration of community energy to be flourished again.

Theatre changes my life
-
Theatre makes me proud of myself. Theatre gives me a chance
to do things that I didn’t expect. Theatre makes me realize
that an ordinary kid, like me, is special. My other friends, too, are special.
-
Theatre teaches me how to see this world in a wider angle, to learn to accept my own false and defects, to learn to share and live humbly with others, and to be happy to do deeds for others.
-
Now, I live with 15 clothes, easy life style. I go to shopping stores less and live more with nature. When we are worry less about ourselves, we have more times to think of others.
-
Theatre stops me from possessing to my own world. Early in the morning we practice music, and rehearse, in the afternoon we study, in the evening we plant vegetable. I feel tired sometimes, but I enjoy learning new things which are very beneficial for me and others. Here, we don’t watch TV, but we choose selected movies to put on a big screen at night, or else, we will go to see good plays and do some classics’ first reading, afterwards we sit in circle and discuss.
-
Theatre makes me discover myself that I was a talker more than a doer. A real morality will not exist, unless we start it from our own hands because children need models more than critics.
